The Parasol Garden is a modern resort hotel set in the lively Playamar area, 100 metres from the beach and 200 metres from the shops. This ten floor property features 171 air conditioned guestrooms decorated in light pastel shades with floral fabrics, wooden furnishings, ceiling fans and brown tiled floors. All extend to furnished balconies and include satellite television, radios, telephones and safes. The majority of rooms face the sea and mountains, while some face the garden and pool. Daily cleaning service and towel change and linens changed twice weekly. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner.

Sun worshippers can bronze on the terraces by the pool, which is flanked by palm trees and landscaped gardens, and sip cool drinks from the poolside bar. The modern restaurant offers a buffet style dining experience and the lounge bar keeps guests refreshed throughout the day. Guests are entertained day and night with a daily programme of live music, dancing, pool games and ping pong competitions, and a kids' club, playground and splash pool are provided for children. Sporting guests can enjoy a range of activities including archery, water polo, crossbow shooting and petanque, alongside table tennis, darts, billiards and video games. Guests can plan sightseeing itineraries in the Internet room or relax in the air conditioned TV lounge. Other facilities include dry cleaning services and an onsite shop, and parking space is provided for guests arriving by car (surcharge). The hotel is sited one kilometre from the restaurants and cafes of the seafront promenade. The numerous attractions of Malaga city centre, including the 11th century Muslim fortress of Alcazaba, Picasso's Birthplace and the Museum of Art and Popular Culture, are 12 kilometres from the hotel. Malaga Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport is six kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.

Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals terminal and should cost approximately 15 EUR to the resort. The nearest bus stop is 100 metres from the hotel. The resort is easily explored on foot or using bicycles or scooters, which can be hired locally. Bus services run locally and connect with other seaside towns. A hire car would be useful for trips further afield.
Driving directions: From Malaga Airport, take the N 340 heading south down the coast, following directions for Torremolinos.
