Built in traditional Greek style, the beachfront Cretan Village hotel sits two kilometres from the lively town of Hersonissos. The complex features 342 guestrooms and apartments decorated in bright colours with traditional touches and modern furnishings. Amenities standard to all accommodation include air conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary toiletries, safes and refrigerators; each has its own balcony or terrace.
Guests can relax on sunbeds by one of four outdoor pools or on the golden sandy beach adjacent. Those feeling energetic can take advantage of the hotel's aerobics, aquafit, gym work out and body firming programmes. For the little ones, there is children's pool with waterslide, as well as a games room and a daily mini club offering a range of activities for 4 12 year olds. At the beach is a water sports centre offering scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, sailing (catamaran) and other activities. After a day of relaxation and fun, guests can enjoy Greek and international dishes in the hotel's restaurants. The hotel also provides free transfers to the Model thalasso spa centre Royal Mare Thalasso, for relaxation, well being and beauty treatments at the neighbouring hotel, Aldemar Royal Mare Village. Also outside the hotel are a number of attractions and historical sights; the excavations of the famous Palace of Knossos are 25 kilometres from the hotel. The historic Lassithi Plateau with its picturesque windmill is 26 kilometres away. The nearest airport is Heraklion International, at a distance of 23 kilometres.
