The Cour St Georges is a beautiful classical building with a rich history; it was used by crossbowmen as a place for provisions and rest, then became the seat of the State General in the 18th century. The historical building has been sympathetically updated to modern standards and is located in the center of Gent within one kilometer of some of the city's finest restaurants, shopping districts and sightseeing attractions. The 31 guestrooms have contemporary d�cor and furnishings in warm colors with classical touches; all include coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryers, Internet connections, minibars and satellite television.

The railway station can be found on the basement level, below Brussels Airport terminal building. There are frequent trains from Brussels Airport to Gent (some of them direct, some with a change of trains in Brussels). Metered taxis are also available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem.
